KENNETH STEWARD “STEW”
US Army Veteran. Artist. Photographer. Visionary.
Born and raised in Houston, Texas. I have always an artist for as long as I can remember. As a kid, my art was either on paper with pencils or on canvas with oil paints-sometimes on the walls. Art has always been my first love. Then life took me on a different path when I joined the AMy creativity took a back seat to serve a bigger purpose:, I defending the Nation.
After serving 21 years honorably and retiring from Ft. Bliss, I became a Disabled Veteran. During my retirement physical I found the root to why I had a nearly impossible time with finishing tasks. I was diagnosed with ADHD, (which I rebranded to “Attention to Detail and Highly Dope). This realization helped explain the creative and professional struggles I’d face throughout my life- but instead of letting it hold me back, I leaned into my artistic roots and picked up a camera.
The moment I heard the shutter close, I was hooked. Seeing the images I’d captured lit a fire in me I hadn’t felt in years. Photography became my therapy, my outlet, and my purpose. It allowed me to create instant art, blending my vision with reality in ways I never imagined.
Now my camera is always by my side- it’s become a part of who I am and an extension of my eye. I often see a picture before I capture it. Capturing real stories, raw emotions, and once in a lifetime moments. For the first time in a long time, I wake up inspired, ready to create, and eager to bring your vision to life. Let’s work together to make something truly unforgettable.
